The main menu<br>The game modes are Story mode, Circuit Racing, Stunt Driving, Time Trial, Free Roam. There are also a Bonus Content and Options tabs

Story Mode: This consists of a series of missions which must be completed in order

Each mission starts with a video sequence that mixes filmed and animated action to advance the story

After the video sequence that introduces the mission comes the mission objectives. Here we must drive from point A to point B without really knowing where point B is

Mission One: After receiving the mission objectives there's another video sequence, this time entirely animated, and then the game begins

The mission is to meet Charlie, the daughter of one of the original band in the Italian Job. It's a timed mission. The steering wheel in the top right is a radar

Mission One: The mission is to meet Charlie. We've arrived at the first location, now we're off to the second. Again it's a timed cross-town race.

Mission Two is locked until Mission One has been completed

The UK release is actually a pan European release, there are multiple countries shown on the DVD but just UK is shown on the keep case

While driving around LA the player will see an unusual number of ramps and lorries to jump from

Circuit Racing: This is a one or two player game. There are six circuits. Players must win all races on Hollywood One and L.A. One to unlock the later circuits.

Circuit Racing: Players can race in a mini cooper, original mini cooper, mini cooper S, truck or surveillance van right away. There are eight other cars to be unlocked

Circuit Racing: All races are run around the streets of the city and start after a quick flu-by and a 3-1-2-Go!.<br>Here the player is racing in a truck, other vehicles are available

Circuit Racing: The mid-air chevrons indicate where a turn must be made, making the radar a bit superfluous

Circuit Racing: This is a checkpoint. The game gives no indication how close other cars are or even whether the player is heading in the wrong direction

Circuit Racing: The end of a race. Critical times slide in from the left. There's no table showing the AI driver's times so I'm going to assume this was a very close race and that they were lucky

Bonus Content: This comprises film stills, concept art, gallery, development and credits movie.<br>All bonus content is locked until the game's Story mode ha been completed

Stunt Driving: There are four courses. Courses two, three and four cannot be attempted until the previous course has been completed

Stunt Driving: Each course begins with a fly-by. This is course one, the warehouse course

Stunt Driving: This is the start of course one. All courses are attempted in a mini. There are three possible liveries, black and union jack are locked until the player makes progress

Stunt Driving: The mission objectives did state that the player should stay on the course, falling off a flight of stairs therefore means Game Over!
