The game has you monitoring the earth for Alien action

You have to design the layout of your bases, build your aircrafts and hire your soldiers

Everything has a cost of course

You can even give odd names to your stuff

The small blue square is my base, the small red dot is a UFO

The attack is successful, the UFO is crashing

No you can investigate the crash site with your crew

You can decide which aircraft and crew you send to investigate the crash but the Alien are surely hostile

You have to prep your crew for the expedition

The the next part is a turn based strategy game

You can consult the map, notice the fog of war that is typical of strategy games
