This level turns around its axis; you must protect baby birds from evil creatures.

Vertical shoot-'em-up stage. The ship can be rotated 180 degrees

Chasing a train with Colonel Smash

As in the original Gunstar Heroes the boss in this tunnel changes many forms (7 to be exact).

And the tunnel goes vertical, of course. Don't even think of defeating this boss until you learn the moveset of each form.

Avoiding blue flame shots

And there's a good old board game in the casino. Now you can at least somewhat predict the dice rolls

There are some health refills in this room, but there's a strict time limit

The moving turrets will destroy the floor and eventually throw you down into another level of the board

These tiny soldiers, again!

Bathroom blob boss

Huge teddy bear on a road. This is a fun boss fight, as a car will come from time to time and knock the boss down (and you if you're not careful)

Colonel Smash dropping bombs

This room is rotating with the boss

What a treachery

Side-scrolling shoot-'em-up stage where you can freely rotate the ship and the whole screen changing the direction where you fly to

Final segment and refights

Boss fight in an elevator (an easy one)

The final boss is the same old treasure gems
